SCOPE

The successful candidate will be part of a global process team focused on deployment, implementation and support of JD Edwards software. Candidate should have strong business knowledge in the areas of Recording to Reporting. Must be able to understand and convey functional strategies, business strategies, and corporate mission. Liaison between business and IT. Works with business customers to understand business needs and requirements to provide recommendations and improvements to process, projects and services.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Extensive work with regional businesses to drive standardization while incorporating required localizations during deployment.

Oversee the development of new processes to be implemented and support of existing processes, including but not limited to Cash Application, Procurement and Accounts Payable and General Ledger. The new functional and technical processes must support business requirements while supporting standardization and repeatable best practices.

Responsibilities include leading activities in requirements definition, fit/gap analysis, project scoping, solution design, global model governance, change management, training development and internal implementation consulting. Should be able to validate, document and organize business requirements that could potentially drive technical design solutions.

Other responsibilities include Level 1 and 2 support for ongoing recording to reporting processes with the JD Edwards Financial Modules for US and Canada.

Requires experience in directing work and building relationships with people at a variety of levels.

Some travel domestically and internationally will be required (up to 20% during project phases).

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS

Requires a degree in Accounting or MBA (Concentration in IT) or Management Information Systems.

5-10 years of business experience supporting the recording to reporting business processes inside JD Edwards.

Very Strong knowledge of JDEdwards software is required

Data Analysis and SQL language knowledge is desired

Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
