Your Main Responsibilities

The Packaged GasBusiness Process Engineerwill be a member of the Packaged Gas Productivity team. In this role, you will identify, develop, maintain and support best in class solutions for challenging business problems. Application areas will include plant production, business process optimization, supply chain, logistics and warehousing.

You will work closely with key stakeholders in our Packaged Gas business to identify methods to enhance productivity using modern technology and process improvement methodologies. Robotic process automation, data visualization tools and digitization of work process highlight some of the solution opportunities. This includes leading projects and teams to map existing work processes, identify gaps and areas of opportunity, assist in architecting/delivering the appropriate technical solution and application maintenance. Enhancing and updating existing digital solutions is also in scope.This position requires French and English communication, both written and speaking and will be required to travel across Eastern Canada up to 25% of the time.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Accountable to meet or exceed productivity plan for the Region

  • Accountable to work with region management to identify potential projects to fill project hopper

  • Accountable to validate, lead and execute projects within the region working closely with region management to ensure targets are met

  • Provides monthly reporting on project status and timeline

  • Use VSM and lean manufacturing process techniques to map existing work processes and identify productivity opportunities to improve plant and distribution efficiencies

  • Identify region procurement opportunities and work with Canadian procurement team to execute

  • Can pull and analyze both transaction and financial data from the data warehouse

  • Support new application development as well as maintaining and improving existing applications.

Qualifications
