Responsible for the management of emerging products in the sputtering targets industry which includes establishing the scope of a sputtering target program through the critical assessment of its application, potential demand and YoY growth. Support continuous development of emerging sputtering targets by offering product enhancements/design changes based on customer and market requirements thereby creating a competitive advantage through value addition. Responsible for customer interfacing and engagement in order to obtain feedback on target performance. Coordinate interaction between cross functional teams which include R&D and project management to track and communicate updates periodically to all stakeholders. Participate in transfer of R&D to manufacturing through the proper setup of routers, work instructions, Standard operating procedures and supply chain.
Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Materials Science and Engineering or a related field. Graduate-level coursework must include: material physics and its applications; material characterization techniques; simulation software (ANSYS); design of experiments (DOE); advanced statistical process control; failure analysis; semiconductor deposition processes; thin film processing; and integrated circuit fabrication processes.
