This position looks after local deliveries (cylinders, welding supplies) accross the Saint-John, NL community. This position is also to work in the Saint-John praxair plant.

Major responsibilities(Duties may include but are not limited to):

  • Work in the production area of the plant

  • Fill cylinders in the plant

  • Micro bulk deliveries

  • Cylinder deliveries

Qualifications

Education:

  • Professional truck driving school degree or equivalent experience (2 years).

Professional experience:

  • Valid, incident free, applicable provincial driver's license : Class 3 license

  • 2 years of experience of driving a class 3 truck

  • Able to manipulate a variety of cylinder sizes and weights as required.

Other considerations:

  • Knowledge of compressed gases and safe handling.

  • Mechanical aptitude.

  • Knowledge of vehicle maintenance.

  • Team player willing to work with others.

  • Customer focus and reliable.

  • Some computers skills would be an asset.

  • Problem solver and able to work alone.
