Human Resource Business Partner
We are seeking an experienced Human Resource Business Partner (HRBP) who will be embedded in the business, operate with a consultative approach, and provide a best-in-class employee experience. This role is critical in executing our people initiatives, providing great internal customer support, driving HR functional excellence and process improvement. The HRG willserve as a consultant/partner to both the senior leaders and management teams with the goal of aligning best HR practices to business strategies. This position will report to the Sr. Human Resources Manager and will be evaluated on their ability to improve employee retention of key talent, improve employee engagement and successful integration with the business they support. This individual will also work on national HR projects and initiatives as required.
Major Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, increase engagement and retention.
Work with businesses on workforce planning; including review and localize job descriptions, facilitate local interview process for hiring and develop and deliver local onboarding and facility orientation programs.
Manage, recommend and implement remedies on employee relations issues (to include conducting thorough and objective investigations, assessing risk and determining appropriate course of action).
Provide performance management guidance to management for coaching, counseling, career development and disciplinary actions.
Act as the point-of-contact and advisor on compensation actions, including individual promotions, equity adjustments and related actions.

Education and Professional Experience:
Secondary School Graduate - Post secondary studies in Human Resources or Business Administrationor the equivalent combination of education, professional training and work experience
CHRL designation is an asset
Five to six years of Human Resources experience, including experience in partnering with managers to deliver HR solutions, driving organizational change initiatives and ability to engage, interact and influence business outcomes
Demonstrated accuracy, the ability to prioritize, work independently under minimal supervision and attention to detail are critical to success in this position
Excellent relationship management skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability and willingness to travel to locations within Southern Ontario regularly up to 50%
Experience in labour relations would be an asset
Bilingualism would be an asset
Preference will be given to those candidates that live in the GTA
