Service Technician

Reporting to the Sales Manager East Ontario, this position is accountable for servicing and maintaining medical equipment and providing technical support to internal and external customers. Position also would upgrade and repair equipment to meet manufacturer’s specification and pricing of such repairs. Prioritize repairs to be done on a day to day basis.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Inspect and repair home medical equipment to manufacturer’s and company’s specifications.

  • Provide clients with technical support, repair quotes and alternatives as requested.

  • Order and maintain inventory of repairs and complete appropriate documentation.

  • Maintain accurate service records and complete appropriate documentation.

  • Support Sales as required

  • Maintain accurate record of time and costs associated with billing of repairs

  • Comply with Praxair S&ES policies and procedures

  • Comply with Praxair clinical standards



  • 2yrs industry experience within healthcare.

  • Technical experience is required as well as working knowledge of home healthcare equipment and clinical services.

  • Should possess excellent organizing, planning, co-ordinating, negotiating inter- personal skills.

  • Must be capable of working independently and commitment to safety is a must.
