Your Main Responsibilities
As Regional Maintenance Coordinator you will manage the fleet maintenance budget and third-party vendors while ensuring vendors meet the standards agreed upon and constantly seek opportunities to improve equipment workflow and minimize costs.
You will be a member of the team, including Procurement and Operations, that will identify and execute the fleet rebuild plan along with resolution of operational issues as they occur. Your three to five years of experience in the maintenance of heavy equipment will include specification and selection of heavy vehicle components. You will be expected to stay up to date on new technology developments, including computerized vehicle maintenance programs and regulations regarding commercial vehicles for the different regions we operate in. Occasional travel will be required along with the ability to provide support after hours as it relates to fleet maintenance.
Manage commercial vehicle maintenance for the region in coordination with our third-party fleet services
Provide technical support on heavy equipment fleet specification
Develop training material preparation and assist with incident investigation
Maintain fleet data base file and fleet licensing, ownership and insurance
Ensure the availability of delivery units to meet customer delivery requirements
Collaborate with other members of Transportation in the sharing of opportunities and best practices.
