Praxair Canada Inc is currently recruiting for a Territory Manager, Specialty Gas for its Package Gases business. The Territory Manager will be responsible for serving a dedicated region within the Greater Toronto Area.

The Territory Manager is accountable to profitably manage and grow the customer base within their dedicated region.

Major Responsibilities include:

  • Develop increased market share in select high growth-potential specialty gas markets

  • Having a direct responsibility for managing a specified number of Key Accounts

  • Provide a coordinating role with industrial Territory Managers

  • Implement marketing programs and support national efforts to increase Market share

  • Securing long term relationships by obtaining agreements

  • Generates and qualifies new business leads and conducts competitive intelligence

  • Accountable for providing complete and accurate account set-up and pricing data

  • Fully participate in all sales reporting requirements



  • Undergraduate degree or diploma with a Major in Engineering, Sciences, or applicable technology and related industry experience is preferred

  • Knowledge of specialty gas applications, product lines, and related equipment preferred

  • Strong Communications with proven sales and negotiating skills

  • Minimum of 2 years experience in sales and/or marketing

  • Strong technical & computer skills, ability to learn in fast-pacedenvironment

  • Ability to work on their own and be self-directed
