We are currently recruiting for a Technical Sales role to join our Packaged Gas team in the Province of Ontario.
The primary role of this position is to profitably manage and grow the business related to our Niche market opportunities, including Dry Ice, Membranes, Micro Bulk, MetFab Bulk and Cylinder gases with focus on our non core market segments in the Province of Ontario market. In addition to overall support of the MetFab business, Technical Sales role will be the divisional lead and champion for these product lines and will provide technical assistance, training and expertise to Territory Managers on these products and applications. The successful applicant will also coordinate services with Operations as it relates to Distribution, Service and Administration and be the main contact with suppliers and outsourced business partners.
Major responsibilities (Duties may include but are not limited to):
Grow sales and operating profit for these product lines and applications
Secure long term relationships by obtaining Product Supply Agreements
Provide assistance and product line training to Territory Managers throughout the division
Design and support field trials
Coordinate and interface with Product Managers and Operations
Coordinate application launches and develop marketing plans
Apply cost benefit studies and customer proposals
Initiate, support and implement marketing plans, promotions and new product launches
Ensure ongoing price implimentation for product lines
Other duties as assigned by the manager
- Degree or diploma -Chemical Engineering, Bachelor of Science or applicable technology or equivalent experience
Direct Sales experience
Professional selling skills
Product knowledge / Marketing experience
Pricing and Product management
