Praxair, Inc., a leading supplier of industrial gases and pressure pumping services, is currently seeking a talented professional to be our Controller for the USIG NuCO2 business. In this role, you will have the following responsibilities:

Job Purpose:

Incumbent will obtain current pricing from all vendors for inventory parts. Incumbent will maintain reorder points, supplier information, supplier files purchase order files and expedites parts orders as required. Candidate will quote parts to customers, process customer parts orders, back orders, closing orders and maintain customer files. Print drawings for customer and quoting.

Scope:Works under close supervision following established routines and standing instructions, applies basic skills and knowledge of clearly defined precedents and procedures to complete tasks. Utilizes a thorough knowledge of the business and organization, provides administrative support in process and projects.

Principal Responsibilities:

  • Responds to routine correspondence, producing letters, memos, emails and other correspondence.

  • Answers incoming phone calls from customers.

  • Greet visitors, issues badges and maintain visitor log.

  • Knowledgeable on freight shipments, paperwork and truck scheduling.

  • Purchase inventory stock parts as required

  • Receives, sorts and distributes department mail

  • Assists with special projects when needed

  • Provides accurate record and file maintenance

  • Orders department office supplies and equipment as required

  • Heavy data input including production numbers and results

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Requires a high school graduation or equivalent and 2 - 4 years secretarial or administrative support experience.

  • Proficiency with computer software such as word processing, spreadsheets, databases, and graphics is required
