Human Resources Coordinator

Description

The Global HyCO division ofPraxair, Inc. is currently seeking a Human Resources Coordinator in TheWoodlands, TX.

This position will workindependently with minimum supervision to assist the Global HyCO team withvarious Human Resources administrative projects, including creating reports andspreadsheets, expense reports, receiving, assessing, handling or forwardingincoming communications, including telephone calls, mail and faxes. Provideoffice support in the absence of the HR team. Assist recruiters by providing recruitingand administrative support and assist in the overall recruiting process,including interaction and correspondence with client staff, applicants andvendors. Responsibilities include scheduling candidate interviews and makingtravel arrangements. Additional responsibilities include preparingpre-employment packets, preparing general correspondence, assisting in theOn-Boarding process, updating applicant tracking, coordinating with hiringmanagers, providing customer service to client staff. Other special projects,as assigned.

Must be detail orientedwith great accuracy. In addition, must possess good oral and writtencommunication and organizational skill, as well as have strong problemsolving/analytical skills and the ability to maintain strict confidentiality.Will be required to handle multiple tasks, and must be able to work under thepressure of deadlines. Must have experience working and creating reports frommultiple systems, HR Management System (HRMS), Applicant Tracking System (ATS),Learning Management System (LMS), etc.

Qualifications

  • BS or BA degree in Human Resources Development, Human Resources Management, Business, or related field is required.

  • PHR Certification a plus

  • 2 years of HR experience preferred, some of which can be an HR internship.

  • Knowledge of HR concepts and laws primarily related to recruiting.

  • Intermediate level computer skills utilizing MS Word, Excel, and other business systems.

  • Attention to detail, accuracy, excellent interpersonal skills, strong written and communication skills.

  • Ability to demonstrate judgment and discretion when dealing with sensitive and confidential information and strong analytical ability.

  • Must have strong customer service skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

  • Must have working knowledge of HR systems experience.
